Chapter 159: Record of All Realms

“I appreciate your kindness but I fear I have to refuse.”

Raven seemed surprised by his answer as this was the very first time that someone rejected her offer. Even a curious glint flashed deep within her eyes, interested in the reason behind Khal’s decision.

“Why is that? You don’t need to rush your decision as my offer will be always open before you.” smiled Raven toward Khal.

“I know, and I really appreciate the invitation but I can’t accept it. Even though I have said I don’t have exact ideas for the future, I can’t join your Sect, I am sorry.”

Raven and Theon glanced at Khal dumbfounded as he just refused an extremely great opportunity that maybe he will regret for the rest of his life!

And what was even more confusing was that he didn’t want to tell the exact reason, or maybe dared not. This however only piqued Raven’s curiosity even more, but still decided not to ask more questions as she didn’t want to appear rude.

Everyone had their own secrets, including her, thus seeing Khal deciding this way was only understandable for her.

But in truth, Khal didn’t reject the offer because he wanted to or because he didn’t see it alluring enough, but because he couldn’t join. Once he gets back into Moon Academy, he will do something that had a high possibility of turning his life upside down, thus he must avoid joining parties at all cost.

He didn’t want to bring chaos upon their heads for no reason, he was at least that responsible for his actions.

As he thought about this his eyes flashed with a hint of coldness, his mouth slightly curving into a wicked smile that he made sure to hide from others when he was looked at.

“That bastard… It’s finally time to pay him back his favor a hundred folds. He will regret even the moment he was born in this world!”

Time flowed like a river and everyone enjoyed their time with the rest next to delicious foods, drinks, and laughs.

Soon midnight came and Khal decided to go back to his room as he felt kind of exhausted and he still had two things to do.

Closing the door behind his back, Khal took out the 15 pills from his pocket and without hesitation threw all of them into his mouth, in the same manner as Theon did.

BAM!

Right after he did, a powerful presence broke forth from his body that seemed to be growing each passing second without stop!

It was so great that Rubie had to fly onto a tree as she couldn’t remain still on Khal’s shoulder.

[Notify! Heaven’s Eyes has consumed 64 ‘Beast Essence’!]

[Notify! Heaven’s Eyes has consumed 31 ‘Beast Essence’!]

[Notify! Heaven’s Eyes has consumed 26 ‘Beast Essence’!]

[Notify! Heaven’s Eyes has consumed 53 ‘Beast Essence’!]

[Notify! Heaven’s Eyes…]

Khal felt as his power surged and skyrocketed, reaching the bottleneck of the Fourth Cultivation Stage, breaking through it as easy as taking a breath, and proceeding on its upswing without any sign of halting!

Only after half a minute later did Khal felt as the power inside his body began to slow down and vanish, leaving only a pleasantly warm sensation inside his body together with a notification inside his head.

[Notify! ‘Power Core’ Heaven’s Eye has reached the Fifth Cultivation Stage!]

[Notify! ‘Power Core’ Stellar Domain has reached the Fifth Cultivation Stage!]

As the two notifies resounded inside his head Khal couldn’t help but smile while savoring the remaining sensations inside his body that still lingered there even after his breakthrough.

“From 589 Essence my power broke into the Fifth Stage and surged all the way to 243! Quite a decent amount indeed.” Khal grinned like a complete idiot, but soon his face turned serious and took out a small ring from his pocket.

It was the Spatial Ring he got from the old lady who he met before the tournament and now that it has ended, he was allowed to see the things kept inside it.

Though, he was still hesitant if he should use and watch what was inside as he didn’t know if it was a trap or not.

Pondering for a while, Khal shrugged and said, “I don’t seem to find the logic why a powerful expert would kill me this way as she could have done it when she met me. There is nothing to be afraid of… I guess…”

Swallowing a huge amount of alive in nervousness, Khal poured a bit of his Essence into the ring, resulting in blinding light emerging in an instant.

Swish!

“Huh? A book?” Khal watched as a book as thick as his feet appeared in his hand, while the ring between his fingers turned back into its original appearance.

It looked like except for the huge and ancient-looking book, there was nothing else inside it which disturbed him a bit thus Khal shifted his gaze at the title of the book.

“Record of All Realms?” seemingly confused and curious at the same time about its context, Khal put his hand on the book’s smooth cover and opened it.

‘Records of the Six Realms and the one forgotten by all, the Zero Realm.’

“It seems it contains things about the realms, their traits, unique locations, special creatures, and their weapons and so much more. Just who was that old lady and why did she give this to me?” Khal began to feel more and more confused as he realized this book was something no normal cultivator should have!

This was a book… No, a treasure, tha was priceless beyond belief!

Reading it for a while, Khal put the book down and held his head, deep shock visible on his face.

He read the first few pages, yet the amount of new information in them was so much that his head felt as if it wanted to be exploded!

This was simply outrageous, yet at the same time amazing!

“Just who the hell was able to write these things without dying? Was it the old lady or someone else?” a question popped up inside his head one after another as he couldn’t see nor find the name of the writer on or inside the book.

“Well, it doesn’t really matter as it’s now in my possession thus I must keep this protected no matter what.” thought Khal as he knew that this book in the wrong hands could lead to calamity in a blink!

As he thought about this, his eyes turned firm and without any hesitation started to read it from the beginning but with greater concentration this time.

And just as he did, somewhere in a faraway land that could be on the other side of Ephus or maybe not, an exceptionally beautiful woman with otherworldly facial features was lying calmly below a tree, her delicate face slowly forming a gentle smile that seemed to be able to cause wars between Continents if seen.

“Let’s see how you will use that knowledge that not even ‘he’ knows about…”
