Chapter 389 - Clearing The Whole Dungeon Alone!

Furthermore, their color was not red because of the color that painted the whole scenery on and around the two mountains but because the water was indeed deep crimson in color as it was blood!

"What the hell is this place? It feels like we are in the middle of a battlefield where a massacre had been taken place." Senior Lin frowned as disgust flashed in her eyes upon feeling the putrid smell of blood in the air.

It was not only her but even Darla and Astro too, as they too felt rather uncomfortable in such an environment that only appeared during and after a brutal clash between two races.

Khal, on the other hand, felt nothing upon seeing the horror-like scenery around him as he has already seen similar scenery before. Of course, they were not as gruesome as this one, but it was more than enough to make him used to such a sight.

Also, he has already seen blood flowing so it didn\'t matter for him if he was seeing a few drops or a hundred liters at the same time.

"I wonder where all this blood is coming from," Darla mumbled quietly as she looked left and right when suddenly Khal halted, forcing her and the two on her side to stop moving too.

Tremble!

The ground below each of their feet suddenly began to tremble as the blood that fell from above began to increase in amount and density while several smaller rocks began to fall from the mountainsides, only stopping when they reached the bottom!

"What is happening?" Darla\'s body suddenly tensed up when she felt how the feeling of dread began to appear around her almost as if death finally arrived to claim her life.

Senior Lin and Astro felt as their bodies began to tremble too, but it was not as obvious as in Darla\'s case; they just only looked a tiny bit pale while their fingers clenched into a tight fist.

"Relax. I will take care of this." Khal who stood on the front summoned his Devil Fangs into his hand and watched as a swarm of insects began to flood out of the caves from all sides, rushing toward them with bloodlust!

"Just at the peak of the Body Temperer Stage?" Khal mumbled with a frown as he clearly remembered that they said the weakest beast in this dungeon was at the peak of the Limit Breaker.

"Well, considering that there are tens of thousands of them swarming at us at the same time, I think not even a normal Ascender Stage being would stand a chance much less a peak Limit Breaker," Khal said to himself and after activating his Hell Blaze he swung his weapon.

Swish!

BOOOM!

A powerful ripple together with a wave of blazing flames broke out from Khal\'s fan the moment he waved it, scorching and turning the sea of insects into nothing more but ash that was blown away into the distance by the breeze from one of the valley\'s entrance!

"Let\'s go," Khal said with an indifferent face after putting his weapon away, giving not even a single glance at the many floating essences around him that could have possibly increased his Body Essence!

Astro and Darla looked at Khal with a stupefied expression after witnessing how he killed tens of thousands of beasts at the Body Temperer Stage while Senior Lin just sighed helplessly and without saying a single word began to follow Khal.

Khal proceeded to walk through the sixth floor and kill beasts whenever he met with one, taking him no more than a few seconds to claim their lives before continuing with his ascension.

At first, he felt rather bored as the number of beasts he crossed paths with was quite a few, but once he reached the seventh floor this changed. Almost every few hundred meters he met with a beast that wished to claim their lives, but unfortunately, neither of them were able to sustain more than two attacks before succumbing to their death once and for all!

And like that, he literally cleared all the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth floors before finally reaching the tenth floor!

"Unbelievable... We really reached the final floor!" Astro mumbled with a dazed expression, still struggling to believe that he was currently standing on the final level of this dungeon.

"I thought it would be bigger." suddenly Khal exclaimed out loud as he looked around, his complexion holding a hint of disappointment that rarely appeared on his face.

Currently, they were standing in the very middle of the tenth floor, but even from there, they could clearly see the walls of the dungeon in the distance showing just how small this last floor truly was.

As a fact, the tenth floor was only a huge empty room with only witnesses wherever one looked and nothing else. It was a huge contrast to the previous nine where the environment was either extremely beautiful or terrifyingly scary.

[If I have to take a rough guess, the distance from side to side shouldn\'t even reach a mile.]

\'Yeah, that is exactly what I had in mind.\' Khal nodded and raised his head toward the ceiling, which just as the walls on the sides, was perfectly visible to the naked eye.

"And what exactly is that?" Khal asked out loud, causing the three on his sides to stop looking around and raise their heads, only to form a somewhat puzzled expression.
