Chapter 168: The Sixth Star

Chapter 168: The Sixth Star

Ed checked his notifications and noticed a string of experience points. There were also about 3 Gacha tickets dropped from whatever was killed. This brought back Ed\'s attention to the Regeneration skill he got from Norris. He was conflicted about using it since it was from Norris, but he realized his thinking was nave. As long as it could be useful in protecting his loved ones, he would use whatever power he can get his hands on.

"What is that? Is it some enemies?!" Emilia was freaking out due to the fact that so many strong people appeared at once. She thought that reinforcement from Blood sect appeared.

"You don\'t need to worry. Those are my companions." After Ed spoke to her she calmed down but was still confused. They leveled up out of nowhere so it was a rather unusual thing for her.

Ed crushed the Regeneration card and his wounds started healing. Emilia was once again stunned, and couldn\'t help but ask him about it.

"It\'s the same skill as Norris\'" Ed didn\'t lie, but he didn\'t explain things either. Emilia didn\'t pursue things any further, as she didn\'t really care. She was happy enough to have avenged her mother and buried her.

"Master." "Edward!" Ed heard some people calling out to him, which turned out to be Goburou and WarGreymon. "We need you to come with us," Goburou spoke without rushing until he noticed Emilia standing next to Ed. He looked at Ed and back Emilia and then said, "Sorry for interrupting" while bowing. This caused Ed and Emilia to turn red.

"You\'re not interrupting anything, what\'s wrong." Ed tried to undo the misunderstanding but didn\'t try hard. All of his monsters had unique personalities, and Goburou\'s was the most unique one. He would either remain calm all the time or try to tease someone when he starts speaking. Even though Ed tried to explain to him, he would simply look at him and then at Emilia and smile. He looked like an older brother that found his sibling with a girlfriend.

"Nothing is wrong. We just hunted some stuff and thought you would like to have them." He told Ed as they flew towards the ocean. WarGreymon was silent, but Ed could feel that he was excited about something. \'Probably food.\' Ed thought while looking at him.

Emilia was silent, but watching Goburou and WarGreymon closely. Vampires existed in this world, so she knew about them. But, she had never seen a monster like WarGreymon. She also felt that both of them were a lot stronger than what their cultivation level indicates.

After a while, they reached the ocean and Ed was ecstatic. Emilia on the other was stunned. The ocean that was usually frozen at this time of the year was melted. On the shore, hundreds upon hundreds of seafood, err sea monsters were lying dead. There were one-meter long shrimp monsters. Some eel-like long monster, an octopus, and some squids. There were also some whales and crabs. Most of these monsters were high leveled Heavenly Establishment beings. Yet, they were hunted in less than an hour.

Ed guessed that Goburou destroyed the ice blocking the ocean, and WarGreymon headed into the water to hunt. However, he didn\'t know why they were here so he asked them.

"Guards stopped coming so we decided to change the area. But, they still didn\'t come even here. We noticed the ocean and wanted to destroy it in order to attract attention. We ended up attracting monsters, not humans." Goburou explained the whole situation to Ed.

Ed flew down and started storing the bodies. Whatever he couldn\'t reach, he used his Telekinesis as an extended hand to catch them and store them. So many monsters were gone in less than a minute.

Some more monsters appeared in the ocean, but Ed didn\'t bother with them. He had a lot of uneaten ingredients just sitting in his storage. So much that in fact, he didn\'t know what to do with them. After finishing, he flew back towards Emilia and the others, who then headed back to the castle.

"Do you need anything from here?" Ed asked her. He wanted to know if Emilia had anything she wanted from the castle. People tend to take things such as pictures with them. There were no cameras in this world, but artists existed. They manage to draw a picture that is almost as if the real person was living inside of it. Some artists go as far as to use QI in their drawings to make them more beautiful.

"No, we can leave." Unfortunately, these portraits were all burned down by Norris once he took over. She had nothing that would interest her in the castle anymore.

"I see. Then it is only fitting if the castle follows after its master." Emilia had no intention of ruling this country. The castle should indeed follow its master, her mother.

Ed withdrew Muramasa and used Fire magic. In an instant, a heat wave filled the entire capital. It was a change enough for them to notice. The snow stopped falling from the sky, while the one on the ground started melting. With a swing of his blade, the surroundings became quiet. The people could only hear the sound of an explosion, and once they looked at the source. The castle was gone. Ed and Norris managed to blow off the top of the castle, but now nothing remained. Not even rubble. The guards from Blood sect, who were inside, were also killed. Ed could see some small amount of Exp in his notifications.

"Let\'s go." Ed returned and smiled toward Emilia. They all flew and met up again with Hayato and the rest who had regrouped.

"Where\'s Ellie?" Ed couldn\'t help but ask once he got there. Everyone was present except for her. He quickly checked the Map and noticed that she was somewhere inside the capital. He flew over there and met up with her.

"I was following this old man. Turns out there are six stars, not five, and this man is the hidden member. I beat him up and got this from his spatial ring." Ellie handed Ed what seemed like a Map. It was a map of all the Blood sect posts situated on their continent.
